Concept: This project focuses on "The Art of Layering." The goal was to take an existing architectural shell and soften its hard edges through a rigorous curation of decor. The styling strategy moves away from clutter, selecting fewer, higher-quality pieces that speak to the "dark luxury" aesthetic.
Styling: We utilized a palette of deep charcoal, burnt amber, and slate grey. The texture was paramount: juxtaposing a vintage leather armchair against a nubby bouclé rug, and placing matte black ceramics on polished brass side tables. The lighting selection focused on low-slung floor lamps and table lamps to create pockets of intimacy.
Atmosphere: The result is a sensory experience. It looks like a collector's home—lived-in yet pristine. The space feels grounded and quiet, relying on the absorption of sound through heavy drapery and plush textiles to create a true sanctuary.
